About LIl SaintHello my name is Victor Ybarra Aka Lil Saint, First I would like to say thank you for taking the time to learn about how I became successful it's was by the grace and love of God that I am here today. I would like to share a story about a baby defied the odds of Life and negativity of people and embraced courage.
A Great Story There was this baby who is the baby of 13 that was born with a disability Called "Fetal Alcohol syndrome." FASD is caused when the mother of the child drinks while pregnant. When he was born doctors stated "He would not be normal, he will have a 4th grade level education he would not be able to talk, walk, or do anything that normal kids could do. he would be bound to a wheelchair the school he went to was a private christian school. so he can work at his own pace and have that one one teaching he needed. as he graduated high school with a Gpa of 3.5. He wanted to be a music artist and a business owner his very own mother said " NO you have trouble learning math is not your favorite subject." Dreams got crushed. Today he is a very successful young man of 4 companies and is a music artist Today. The reason I know that story so well is because I Victor Ybarra was that baby. I became an advocate and mentor for young people who struggle with the same disability as myself. in my early teens I was a youth leader of 3,000 young people in all of Southern Ca. of the church organization i was part of. In 2009 I lost my job became homeless collecting recyclables just to eat. I was given an opportunity to make more money, I invested my last $60 into the coffee industry and was able to open my very own DJ business which has given me the opportunity to travel. and do many things. Today I am an Music artist, DJ, And Motivational speaker. Here's how I found out i had a gift. At the age of 16 my Pastor's Wife entered me in to a speaking category for a school competition she told me not to do 3 things. (1) Don't use your hands to illustrate (2) don't walk away from the podium (3) Don't put your hands in your pocket, But I did just that. the same night of the award ceremony They started calling the places start with 10th place my name wasn't called by the time they reached 5th place I was sad. then 3rd place I was hurt, sad and sank down in my chair & then suddenly They had called my name I won 1st place. I was shocked not knowing what to do walked up to get my award. I knew i had a gift of speaking at an early age. (Now i can't Shut Up....LOL) My Mentors who were personal mentors were My Pastor, Jim Rohn, John C Maxwell, Robert Kiyosaki. I always watched their videos and took notes. After everything i went through I can do anything. I love to work with young People who needs someone who can point them in the right direction |
